More than 100 man years in application engineering are leveraged to engineer and manufacture high-tolerance fiber optic cables, parts and components to meet unique specifications. FTI’s focus continues to be custom requirements for military, medical, industrial, and commercial OEMs.

• FTI invests in R&D. If it’s related to fiber optic lighting, extensive R&D enables us to stay apprised of the next new technology. We have a dedicated team of mechanical, optical, and electronic engineers who have been exclusively deputed to work with our customers on specialized projects.
• Our machining department is being converted into state-of-the art CNC equipment; tolerance can be speced and held to +/- 5um. Two shifts ensure that your product development process doesn’t lag. A 3D printer is used o rush proof of concept experiments and prototypes.
• Past the proof-of-concept stage, FTI employs an experienced team of in-house resources to execute builds from beta to production runs in the multi thousands.
• Our new electronic manufacturing cell with associated engineering can also be leveraged to create light engines, feedback modules, drivers and more; anything associated to fiber optic lighting can be realized quickly in house.
